Friends: It has been quite a week. Last Sunday the October edition of Oprah Magazine hit the newsstands, containing Gayle King’s endorsement of His Father Still on her “Live Your Best Life” page (“May Hollister’s soul-searching be a cautionary tale for every reader.”) The book’s official release was this past Tuesday September 15 (notwithstanding that Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Indie Bound, the leading online retailers, are still adding links and data about the book). The Introduction chapter (“What a Parent Does”) can now be read on either Amazon’s “Look Inside” feature, and also on this blog, under His Father Still, “Preview” (so don’t take my word for it, see for yourself!).
