In January 2015, Connecticut’s safe teen driving community gathered to assess our state’s progress under the teen driver law that we adopted in 2008, and what legislative, policy, and coordination improvements we may be able to make going forward. Yesterday, the Connecticut DMV released a summary of the January conference, link to a copy of the report is below. (I was one of the drafters of the summary, along with Mario Damiata and Bill Seymour of DMV.)
I think safe teen driving advocates across the country will benefit from reviewing our discussions, and in particular from the list of Recommendations for further action found at the end the report.
