When I published Not So Fast back in September 2013, I said (and have repeated many times since) that proceeds from the book would benefit traffic safety programs. My family and I are thrilled to announce the Reid Hollister Scholarship. We have made a contribution to the National Organizations for Youth Safety and its Youth Correspondent Program. The Scholarship will benefit a student who “effectively uses communications tools to reach students, parents, and policymakers to promote safe driving.” The scholarship will be acknowledged at the NOYS Teen Safe Driving Summit in October. Below is a letter we received from NOYS chief Executive Officer Anita Boles. Our thanks to all who have helped us in so many ways to be able to establish this scholarship.
