My friend Sharon Carty, Editor of AOL Autos, gave me a wonderful opportunity to turn my focus from parents to teens by asking me to write an open letter to teens who are getting their driver’s license, telling them what I think they should know, and hope they will think about it. The letter went up on “Autoblog” on July 22, which happened to be Reid’s 25th birthday. I often say that the best posts write themselves, and this post had that type of feeling. Here is the link:
